Woodlands Newest Arrivals

These two lovely baby Alpacas with

soft brown eyes and eyelashes to die for are everyone’s favourites at Woodlands,The Alpaca herd are the newest residents in the Big Fun Farm, the zoo in a farm at Woodlands.

The baby white Alpaca now has a new name she is called Juella named by Rachel Garty from Shepton Mallet.

Wild at Woodlands

A pair of wild Canada Geese flew into Woodlands 2 months ago and have decided it's the best place to set up home and start a family.

There is a beautiful secluded area which is earmarked as a conservation area at the bottom of the park but did the geese choose this as their home? No they prefer all the fun of the Bumper Boat pond next to the massive Sea Dragon Swing Ship.

Below are three of our baby lionhead rabbits in the Rabbit & Guinea Pig City  for all to see at the Big Fun Farm.

A name for Christmas!

We recently held a competition to name our new baby boy donkey. We had lots of entries and would like to thank everyone who participated in the competition .we had some fantastic names to choose from and it was a very difficult choice.

The winning name was suggested by Caitlin from Paignton and our baby donkey is now called "Frostbite.

Below shows two pictures of Caitlin and Frostbite just after she received her prize and certificate.
